MDCD COMPETITION TEAM

ABOUT

Millennium Dance Complex Denver (“MDCD”) will be entering its 5th competition season during 2019-2020.  MDCD’s success is the direct result of the high level training provided by the MDCD faculty and the hard work put in by each student.  Competitions can be highly subjective, so MDCD structures its program to concentrate on student growth in technique, ability, choreography retention, and the overall happiness of its dancers.

MDCD dance training focuses on both industry dance styles (contemporary, hip hop, jazz and jazz funk) and strong technical training.  MDCD expanded its ballet program during the 2018-2019 season, and offers both pointe and pre-pointe.  At MDCD, our student’s success is only possible because of the high level of technique training we offer, which cultivates growth in all industry dance styles.

MDCD also offers a hip hop training and performance track, which will include training and performance opportunities for hop hop styles only.  This is a perfect program for students interested in hop hop only, and/or have limited studio training availability.  Please e-mail contact@mdcdenver.com for more information.

MDCD is a unique training studio. Team students will always have a place in classes, but MDCD allows non-team students the opportunity to train in “team level” classes.  If classes have availability, non-team students can take class based on age, ability and maturity. Should a student decide that MDCD is the right home studio, please be open minded to learn in a new and progressive studio with a unique training philosophy. Stop by today and see why MDCD is the right choice for your student!!
